California Privacy Rights
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This notice explains privacy requests relating to the Legislative Bill Delivery Service, LLC (LBDS) website. Read it with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Information Connected With Website Use
We receive contact details, organization information, inquiry topics, and messages that visitors choose to submit. Technical services also process online identifiers and activity information for website operation, traffic measurement, spam protection, and accessibility features.
Information comes from you, your browser or device, and the providers supporting the website. Our Privacy Policy describes these providers, purposes, disclosures, and retention practices, including the indefinite retention of form entries and emailed inquiries unless deletion is requested or records are otherwise removed.
Privacy Rights Under California Law
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to businesses and information within its scope. Where applicable, California residents have rights to:
- Learn what personal information is collected and obtain access to information about them.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of selling personal information or sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information when that right applies.
- Exercise applicable rights without unlawful discrimination.
These rights depend on the law’s coverage and applicable exceptions. This page does not state that every CCPA obligation or right applies to LBDS. You may contact us about your information whether or not a particular statutory right applies.
Advertising, Sale, and Sharing
We do not use this website to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. GA4 and WPMU DEV Hub Analytics are used for traffic reporting, and advertising and marketing tracking are disabled. Our general inquiry form does not ask for sensitive information such as medical details, account passwords, or payment card numbers.
Make a Privacy Request
Call (916) 443-0683 or use our contact form and select Privacy question. Describe what you want us to review and, when possible, provide the email address used for your earlier inquiry.
Please do not send identification documents through the general form. For requests involving access, correction, or deletion, we may verify your identity using information reasonably needed to protect the records involved. An authorized representative may be asked to establish their authority where the law permits. Different verification rules apply to opt-out requests.
We review requests under applicable law, respond within any legally required period, and explain relevant exceptions or permitted extensions. A deletion request can cover both WordPress form entries and emailed copies under our control, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Cookie Choices and Browser Signals
Use Cookie Preferences to review the optional categories available for this website.
Global Privacy Control communicates an opt-out preference for sale or sharing where applicable. We honor applicable opt-out requirements; this site does not use information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Cookie preferences are separate from requests to access, correct, or delete messages. Our Privacy Policy also explains how we address Do Not Track.
